Essay Response to Halo: First Strike

Halo, the best game, and best orchestrated, best novels you could possibly read in your entire life. In my opinion, this book is the best of all of the Halo chapter books. It’s a story that is about wins, losses, and teamwork. By the sounds of this story, it’s comedy. And we’ll prove its comedy.

It’s all about a secret military program that trains children to become super soldiers. The program was code named: Spartan II. John #117, one of the first of thousands to become a “Spartan”, him and his friends Grace, Li, Anton, Linda, Sam, and their latest addition, Sam, were sent to Planet Reach one of humanities inner colony planets. But they soon discover that The Covenant, an unknown species of unknown origin, is hot on their tail. Led by their leaders, The Prophets, they will stop at nothing to annihilate the entire Human race. (If you want to know more, go to your local library and check out ‘Halo: The Fall of Reach’).

Anyways, now that you understand the story, we’ll talk about the plotline and as I mentioned earlier, prove that it’s tragedy. In Halo: First Strike it starts out after the events about the terrible flood, and Halo, the ring world. Chief is in a Type-43 Bomber, or Longsword Fighter headed back for earth, the last planet humanity has. This is part 1 in the plotline, known as normal everyday life (No he doesn’t stay stranded in a Bomber in space every day, but still). Then there is a conflict, he discovers some covenant ships on Patrol and soon finds John. But then he get’s backed up by a nearby pelican (No not the bird, it’s a kind of gunship, like the F-16). Eventually, him and his new crew that were aboard the pelican take over the covenant ship and destroy the other one.

So then, John takes the recently hijacked Covenant Cruiser to Reach, their lost home. Taken over by the covenant, John gets in a Covenant drop ship and heads to Reach, hoping that his team is still alive. He eventually finds them, and Dr. Catherine Halsey, the original creator of the “Spartan II” Program, and John’s best friend. They soon find an artifact, deep underground under their only sanctuary on Reach, ONI: Castle Base. Finally, last in the plotline, Conflict resolved or something like that, is when John and his team delay a Covenant invasion force getting ready to start their way to earth. Chief and his team destroy one of the ships, that causes a chain reaction of explosions, and then they head back to earth, hoping they have enough time to warn earth about the covenant.

In the world of Happy-land, Bob decided to go to work at McDonalds. Everybody was always happy in Happy-land. Everyone would go crazy if everyone is happy. Smiles and crazy eyes looking at you. You wonder 'Is this a dream or is this real. Why is everyone staring at me?'.
Well this dream if it is, is getting odd and people aren't really doing things, there just starring ODD! So I was trying to walk away when they started following me. They all had on cheek to cheek smiles that looked like as if forced, and they were creepy. The question grew in my mind was it a dream or not.
Then I woke up and find myself back in my cell at The Insane Asylum. Being trapped hear for too long. I need to get out . I don't even know how I got here; What's going on with my life??? I wondered what kind of place this is?! Who smiles this much? I don't know where I am, but it's scaring me. Then I started thinking of places it could be, first Amsterdam then McDonalds I can't decide. I got Scared. Then I know where I was. Philadelphia. The city of brotherly love. I know because I see a lot of people on the phillies. They were all zombies though and they killed everyone but me. How will I survive!?! To be Continued.....

The Upcoming.....

Upcoming in the future, I will be writing an essay response to a very good book, Halo First Strike. It's about the events that occurred after the detonation of the Halo Ring in the year 2552. (See in the book Halo The Flood) Then The Master Chief, Leader of his squad of Spartans, reunite with his team, and prepares to engage the covenant, the alien race that destroyed millions of us, with a decisive First Strike!

Super Bowl Pt. 2

WE WON THE SUPER BOWL! Yes it is true, The Packers have won the Super bowl against The Steelers, beat them by 3 pts. That's right Steelers Fans/Packer Haters, your beloved team lost, oh Boo-Hoo! Get over it. The Steelers have been to The Super Bowl too often. It's time to make a change. We played good in the First Half, until The Steelers kept injuring our Players. When we lost Woodson, oh things went bad. But yet we still WON THE SUPER BOWL!

Super Bowl

The Super-Bowl. This year(Besides The Packers against The Bears) it's the most anticipated media event on T.V. The Super-Bowl this year will have Wisconsin's The Packers, and Pittsburgh's The Steelers(BOOOOO!). This game will probably be the HIGHEST GROSSING GAME ON T.V. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Plus the fact this is the first time in 18 yrs. that The Packers have been to the Super-Bowl. And The Steelers, not so long ago. I don't know who will win, but I'll have a poll up for the game.

Everyone has fears. Fears such as Spiders, Death, Heights, and the dark. In the story Deep Waters, we’ll be looking at the Fear of Drowning. It is a very scary thing, according to the main character that is. People die by drowning. And that’s what scares me too. From the story Deep Waters, we’ll be talking about the story itself.

(This paragraph, although will be different. So in this paragraph, I will be referring to the story as a fiction. So in this paragraph, I will be describing the story as a comedy) First, the plotline for Deep Waters, It matches very closely to the plotline of Comedy. First in the comedy plotline, normal everyday life: The story starts out when William is at the YMCA, as usual. Then he explains how the incident happened when he drowned at the YMCA.

That would match with the event that’s next in the plotline. Then he describes what happened. He explains how he was pushed in by a teenager. Then it tells him how he’s doing now and to now forget his fears.(Now, in this paragraph, I’m referring to it as the actual thing, as I should have) Now, the story. In this story, William talks to us about a specific incident at the YMCA. It started out as a fear. Then it came real. Like me. Once I was afraid of spiders. I saw them in my dreams. Then I woke up to one on my bed! It was very scary. Anyways, then he explains how it happened and then happened next.
Now, he’s doing just fine today, swimming. Overcoming his fear, and now he loves to swim. Isn’t it odd how he is scared of swimming? Then he overcomes his fear of swimming, and now swimming is his main thing. And the lesson learned here is that never be afraid to do something your scared of, or something similar to that

Snow Day

Snow Days, the best days for a child ages from a preschooler, to a senior in high school. They give us a break from school due to too much snow. Apparently that's what will happen on Feb. 2rd, 20011. When we get a snow day, we will relax,we will have fun, WE WILL LIVE.
BREAKING NEWS!: I have just received word that school will end 15 min. early. HO-AH. Thanks Super-Intendant. We students like you for that. What he is saying basically, is have fun on your break kids. Yea you students like him for what he did. I know it. And Now Sports.............

P.S. If tomorrow isn't a snow day, I WILL SUE (No I'm just kidding, but please. Tomorrow must be a snow day).
